Bye Miss Julie!!!!

STEVE

The pop of color is most definitely in the statue of freedom Mexico gave us. As well as every light that is shown in the night sky brings a nice glow of color. The exposure for the night time skyline is perfect, as well as the the pops of color most definitely make sense with the composition. The range of tones are vast so nothing blends in and everything pops very nicely. I love this image it most definitely represents San antonio nightlife, and I feel like the color evokes just the right amount of flavor to show san Antonio's hustle and bustle.

The symmetrical balance on this picture really helps each pop of color represent itself. They do not run or look mixed up. It is exposed to really show case the vibrancy of each can. They all look uniform ,but at the same time are different. For me the color in this picture is overwhelming. I feel like its too much for one photo the selection is too large for so many cans it just doesn't evoke any emotion for me.

The third photo i like much better because of the field of depth. The cans aren't overwhelming like in the last picture. The image is really sharp, and well exposed. The color scheme as the colors gradient to a darker or lighter color is really cool. The image gives me calmer feeling the last in that it only focus on three specific cans in focus. If I had taken this image I would have placed my camera so that the three cans that are blurred before the in focus cans were not there and the gradient started from the first three cans in focus.

The pop of color in this photo is really heavy on the fish and in the grass below.  Which is good because the top and  of the picture balance itself out. I feel like one or two of the fish are a little over exposed, but other than that the exposure of the whole picture together is great. Some of the fish are a little out of focus. This picture does a great job of showing some of the artwork in downtown San Antonio.

The lighting of the courthouse is awesome. It really gives the building the highlights and pop of color it needs. The only thing is possibly would of cropped out the orange sign midway through the picture on the courthouse. Lighting is key in this picture which really exhibits a great control of exposure its not over exposed, but just right. I Possibly would of gotten more of the courthouse in the picture if possible. All together I think its a great photo.

Again lighting in these nighttime photos is key. The exposure on this is great and lighting provides just the perfect amount of pop of color on the bridge and its colorful surroundings. The Lamp on the side is just slightly over exposed. The color lines on the bridges in the front and back of the picture really bring your eye an focus to the center I believe this is a very well composed picture as well.

This is my favorite picture throughout this whole assignment. The color red is just the perfect shade or tone. Its not to bright not to dark. Again the lighting proves key and exposure on this is perfect. This picture actually evokes a calming mood for me and the symmetry and alignment seem dead on. Its a simple picture, but the lighting really takes to from zero to wow!

The pop of red in the picture really stands out powerfully. Even more than the black and white difference the red just pops really hard in the upper right hand corner, but its kind of balanced out by the harsh black pattern running throughout the picture. The guy tracing the pattern adds character to the picture and depth. Overall i feel its very well exposed and unique. I really graffiti art and I think its cool he decided to capture him in the moment. This picture is balanced and exposed very nicely. Especially since the white is just so white!!!

This picture is very symmetrical its most definitely a frame within a frame. The art work hanging in the hall is most definitely the pop of color, and is exposed just right to showcase it. Although everything is symmetrical the picture looks a little off balance because of the light shining on the right hand side shining upward, and there is no left light shining. The lights throw off this picture forma little bit,but other than that I feel like it is a very well composed photo.

This picture is a pop of color in itself!!! the colors are so vibrant, but the vast array of colors on the upper left hand color really standout and make this picture come together. the gradient of orange yellow and brown put together on the bottom is really cool because they all flow together despite the harshness of certain colors. Exposure is great there are no over exposed areas or under exposed and the picture is framed within the cameras lens very nicely. Over all this is my second favorite picture.
